Why these five and nothing more

It is easy to pad a label with a dozen extracts so the back of the bottle looks impressive. We went the other way. Each ingredient in SlimTide earns its spot because it serves the same job, supporting a gut environment that makes appetite and metabolism easier to manage. Crowding in more would only mean smaller, less meaningful doses of everything.

The two fibers work as the foundation. Chicory root inulin is one of the most studied prebiotics in the world, valued for feeding beneficial bacteria without spiking blood sugar. Potato resistant starch ferments lower and slower, reaching parts of the colon that many fibers never touch, which supports the production of short-chain fatty acids tied to gut-lining health.

On top of that foundation sit the three probiotic strains. Akkermansia muciniphila is the headline act, a strain that has become a focal point of metabolic research over the last several years. Lactobacillus gasseri and Bifidobacterium breve round out the blend with strains that have a long history of safe use and a supporting role in a balanced microbiome.

Where the ingredients come from

Sourcing matters as much as the formula. We work with a short list of suppliers and hold them to the same standards run after run.

Every finished lot is sampled and sent to an independent ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. You can see the current run's results, including potency and contaminant screening, on the product verification page, and read more about the full testing process on our quality and testing page.
